Currently, we do not offer standalone camera or gear rental services. All equipment is used in-house for our client projects to ensure consistency and reliability.
Do you do Studio Rental?
We do not operate a public studio rental business. However, for select shoots, we can arrange studio access through our network of partner studios in Singapore, including fully equipped spaces for product, fashion, or corporate content.
Do you provide retainer packages for ongoing visual content needs?
Yes, we offer monthly and quarterly retainer packages for brands that need recurring photography, videography, or social content. Retainers come with discounted rates, priority booking, and dedicated creative support. Contact us for a custom proposal.

re: product photography
Do I need to send my products to your studio in advance?
Not necessarily! Based on what we agreed on during the initial briefing, you can either send your product to our studio for us to do an in-house shoot or we could head to a location of your choice, in which case we would simply need to have the products on site.
How many final images will I receive per product?
This depends on what package you've chosen and what we collectively agreed on during the initial briefing. Rest assured, Motion Pixel always strives to meet your needs above all else; our packages are more then flexible enough to meet you where you stand!
re: food photography
Do you handle food styling? Should we bring our own stylist?
We have contacts to professional food stylists but if you have one you prefer to work with, please feel free to hire them instead! We are more than happy to work with them.
Who prepares food for the shoot and how quickly does it need to be shot?
Clients are responsible for preparing the food, based on the shot list discussed during our briefing together. We recommend preparing extra portions as some dishes may need to be re-plated for better results.
How quickly the food needs to be shot depends on what kind. No matter what, speed is key for F&B shoots. We plan the shoot sequence carefully to ensure hero dishes are captured promptly after plating.
Can you shoot on-location at our restaurant/café?
Absolutely! We offer both studio and on-location F&B shoots. On-location work allows us to incorporate your actual space and ambiance into the imagery and usually gives a final product that is more reflective of your brand.

Can you come to our office to photograph our team?
Yes, we offer both in-studio sessions and on-site headshot days at your office. On-site sessions are popular for larger teams as they minimise disruption to your workday.
How long does each headshot session take and what should I wear or prepare beforehand?
Individual sessions typically run 15–20 minutes. For larger teams, we'll plan a schedule to keep things moving efficiently.
For dresscode, we recommend solid, well-fitted clothing in neutral or brand-aligned colours. Generally, anything that looks professional would look great.
Can you ensure a consistent look across all team members even if they're shot on different days?
Yes. We maintain consistent lighting, background, and post-processing settings across sessions to ensure uniformity.
Will individuals be able to select their preferred shots?
Yes, each subject will receive a gallery of selects to choose 3 from before final retouching.

How many photographers will be on-site?
This depends on the scale of your event. Larger events with multiple concurrent moments may require a second shooter, which we can discuss during planning.

Ideally both. We recommend providing a priority shot list for key moments (speeches, award presentations, group photos) while allowing space for candid coverage throughout.
Can you photograph events that run late into the night or over multiple days?
Yes, we're experienced with multi-day events and evening coverage. Additional rates may apply for extended hours.
How much does event photography or videography cost in Singapore?
Generally, for event photography, an hourly rate of $250-$350 per hour is the market rate for senior/pro level photographers. Mid level photographers charge anywhere from $170-$220 while junior photographers charge anywhere from $120-$150.

Do you handle scripting and creative direction, or do we provide that?
We offer full creative development including concept, scripting, and storyboarding. Clients who prefer to provide their own brief or script are equally welcome — we'll work from what you bring.
What is the typical production timeline from brief to delivery and how many rounds of revisions are included?
The timeline depends on the complexity of the project. From brief to delivery, we usually try to keep it to 4 to 6 weeks because we understand efficiency is key for our clients.
Our packages always include up to 3 rounds of revisions.
re: lifestyle photography
Should I hire my own talents or will you hire them for us?
At Motion Pixel, we offer casting services which includes finding the models/talents based on your requirements as well as wardrobe, hair and make-up styling.
However, there will be additional fees of up to $3000 to $5000 for casting. Talent fees can also range from $200 - $500 per hour.
Can the shoot take place at a location of our choosing?
Yes. We're experienced with both studio and location shoots across Singapore. Location scouting and permits (where required) can be arranged as part of our service.
How do I communicate the mood or aesthetic I'm going for?
We begin every lifestyle project with a creative brief and mood board session. Sharing reference images helps us align on style, tone, and direction before the shoot day.
How many looks or setups can we expect in a day?
This varies based on location, outfit changes, and shot complexity, but we'll work this out in the pre-production planning stage so expectations are clear upfront.

How do I make a booking?

How far in advance must I make my booking to secure a slot?
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for peak seasons or multi-day shoots. For urgent bookings, reach out — we may still have availability or offer an express slot.

Motion Pixel’s pricing is tailored to the scale and complexity of each project, while remaining competitive with Singapore’s industry standards.
Small-scale projects (e.g. basic event coverage or short-form content): $800 – $2,000
Mid-sized projects (e.g. corporate events, branded videos with edits): $4,000 – $15,000
Large-scale productions (e.g. multi-day shoots, campaigns, high-resource needs): $20,000 and above

What are your payment terms like?
Our standard payment terms:
50% deposit upon confirmation
50% balance upon delivery of content
We accept bank transfer, PayNow, and credit card (via invoice link). For retainer clients, we offer monthly invoicing.
What is your cancellation & refund policy?
We understand things change. Our policy:
Cancellations >7 days in advance: 100% refund of deposit
Cancellations within 7 days: 50% of deposit retained
Cancellations <48 hours before shoot: Deposit non-refundable
If we’re forced to reschedule due to weather or unforeseen changes, we will try our best to accommodate without extra charges.
